Looking for fun workshops for kids in Dublin? Enjoy the magic, mystique and the wonder of chocolate making for all the family.
Take your family on a yummy two-hour yummy and workshop exploring the story of chocolate from the cocoa bean to how handmade chocolates and Easter Eggs are made.
The Chocolate Warehouse is a world of pure imagination. Started in 2001 by Natasha Caffrey (Grand Daughter of the late Thomas Caffrey known as The Irish “Willy Wonka”) the chocolate workshops have been delighting and inspiring adults and children in Dublin for the last 13 years.
Beginning with an introduction to the story of chocolate. A short film shows the journey of the cocoa bean and the process the bean goes through to get the chocolate we know today. The Chocolate Demonstration shows the visitors how handmade chocolates and chocolate Easter Eggs are made. Then visitors make their own box of chocolates and proceed to decorate bars of chocolate ready to pack & bring home.
At the end of each workshop, there is a chocolate quiz. Then each visitor receives a Chocolate Warehouse Certificate for graduating from The Chocolate Warehouse Workshop.
