Kids can get creative with food, from farm to fork, at YOUNG CHEFS children’s workshops at Airfield Farm.

Just a short hop from Dublin City Centre the children’s workshops run once a month and are suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years old.

During the workshops children explore the food gardens and harvest their own ingredients for the different dishes they produce.  The get to take part in the the process of food, from farm to fork, and get hands on along with earning kitchen safety with correct utensil care.

For the young chef it’s a wonderful opportunity to get creative in the kitchen and prepare delicious healthy meals that they can recreate at home.

You can expect seasonal menus such as “All you knead is love (Bread and cake making)” at Easter and Traditional Irish classics during St. Patricks weekend.

Classes are led by the education and bakery team in a relaxed and fun environment where children are encouraged to ask questions.

Workshops are €21 per child and €19 for members

A portion of the class will be spent outside so please make sure to bring a jacket
