Sleepy Bears and Other Animals with Chris Haughton
As part of the Mountains to the Sea festival Chris Naughton will be bringing you an action-packed interactive event. Full of stories, clever props, dancing and drawing games, children and adults alike will delight in meeting a cast of quirky characters.
Chris Haughton is hands down one of our absolutely favourite children’s authors and illustrators. An Irish designer & picture book maker we fell in love with his first book A Bit Lost at first sight and have been smitten since with these gorgeous books Oh No George!, Shh! We Have a Plan and Goodnight Everyone.
A Bit Lost has been translated into 20 languages and has won awards in 7 countries including the Dutch Picture Book of the Year. He co-founded NODE, a fair trade social business based in Nepal in 2012 and one of his fair trade rugs will be on display at the Lexicon.
As part of the Mountains to the Sea dlr Book Festival running from March 22nd – March 26th, 2017.
This event will be followed by a book signing.
